With the advances in medical technology and science we humans are living longer than ever before.

In January 2011 the first of approximately 77 million Baby Boomers, born from 1946 through 1964 began toward retirement. Every year more than 3.5 million Boomers turn 55. It is predicted by 2030, there will be about 72.1 million older persons, more than twice their number in 2000.

Once they experience declines in their physical and sensory capabilities they will demand products and services to help them maintain their active lifestyles and activities in homecare, nursing home and hospital enviroments such as Elderly Lifts and lift slings and harnesses.
