UNI-FIT Sling

The UNI-FIT sling can be used to transfer patients who are unpredictably able to bear weight on their legs, who bear weight too poorly to transfer safely with a sit to stand mechanical lift or who are non-weight bearing.  Patients need to have normal to rigid muscle tone and have one intact leg.

Sitting Sling

The VERA-LIFT™ sitting sling should be long enough to extend from the bottom of the patient’s coccyx to two to three inches below the lower edge of the patient’s shoulder blades.

Single Strap Contour Back Belt

Single strap back belts can be used to transfer patients with predictable, cooperative behavior who are able to follow simple directions,

Double Strap Contour Back Belt

The VERA-LIFT™ back belt should be wide enough to fit from the top of the gluteal fold (between the buttocks) to 2 – 3 inches below the lower edge of the client’s shoulder blades.

Ambulation Sling

The ambulation sling can be used for gait training and fall prevention. It may be used with floor lifts and ceiling lifts. The legs straps give excellent support without being invasive in the groin area.

Amputee Sling

The amputee sling can be used to transfer patients who have unilateral or bilateral above the knee amputations and patients with intact lower extremities who have loose muscle tone and are at risk of sliding through the small space at the horseshoe area of the UNI-FIT sling.

Hygiene Sling

The hygiene sling is used for toileting. It features a torso support belt and back support section.

2 Point Sling

The 2 Point Sling is used with the 2 point hanger assembly from Vancare as well as other lifts that feature a two point sling bar.

The Clip Style Sling

The Clip Style Sling is used with the clip style arm from Vancare as well as other lifts that feature 4 point clip style arms.

Limb Holding Sling

The limb holding sling is designed to prevent injuries to the caregiver during procedures in bed. It makes the patient more comfortable and stabilized during these procedures. it may be used with floor lifts as well as ceiling lifts.

Repositioning Sling

Repositioning slings can be used for turning large or difficult to move patients from side to side and for repositioning them in bed.

4 Point Stretcher Sling

The Vancare Stretcher and 4 point stretcher sling provides a safe way to lift a patient in a supine position with little to no pressure on the shoulders and hips.

10 Point Stretcher

Stretcher sling features a 70 inch long fabric sheet with five lift straps that extend from one side to the other. This means that the weight of the patient is distributed over ten straps. this sling is used with the 10 Point Stretcher.
